Craigslist and Google Maps

Found a pretty decent Google Maps mashup called Housingmaps.com. It puts apartment listings from Craigslist on a Google map. The site has a few options to limit the criteria that you use for searching such as price or if the listing has photos. If you are like me and pick apartments more on the area that they are located than anything else then this might really help.

If you like that check out this site as well that has some crazy heatmaps and statistics by area of the city based on Craigslist real estate data. It's for San Fran now but he says he's adding NYC, Boston, and others soon.

Thats a cool site Hogan! I'd be very interested to see the heatmap of the posts for Boston. Is that someone you go to school with?
